The Smell of Sea & Clams

Here are some photos taken during Joy’s last trip. As can be seen, it will take a lot of work, but with the help of fans & a talented crew, it can be done!

Looking forward to posting these later as a “Before” post in the future. the exterior needs a lot of work– but the cabin is doing very well! *knock on wood*

Save The Pirate Ship! Day 1

Hello All,

Finally getting everythong back and running. We’re hosting our first-ever Project campaign to kickstart this project!

Our goal is to make it simple, get it done fast, and restore the Brigantine Sultana back for Pirate parties for the Bay Area community!

After speaking with the Captain we’re looking at about ~15,000 needed to restore the exterior for a party.

We want to start off with a smaller goal and hopefully, with your support receive more later to dry dock it for  a full rehaul, and engine and make it sailable again!

Our 1st Upcoming party is proposed tobe February. With your help we can get it in shape for  a fun get-together in the Brisbane Marina!

Many Thanks for your help, to check out the perks you can get to helpt his project click here:

AND, remember! It’s a 501(c)3 so all gifts are tax-deductable!

Cheers,

Getting the Word Out

We are a group UW business students working on this community project for the King County Community and have started to contact other non-profit organizations and departments around Seattle to get the Creative Guild Pirate Ship plan out there..

So far, many people have been very supportive. Our current priority is with the Seattle Neighborhood Matching Fund. The directors of the program are very helpful and we are in high spirits. So far we have been in contact with Scott Minnix, Allynn Ruth, and Wendy Watson. One of us is planning to meet them soon to further discuss the details.
